A student committed suicide at the hostel of New Horizon Higher Secondary School in Palpa on Saturday evening.
According to police, Sakichhya Pandey, 13, an eight grader student hanged herself to death at her hostel room.
Pandey committed suicide some five minutes after watching a movie with her friends, sources confirmed.
Meanwhile, Pandey's parents are abroad in working visa.
According to Pandey's friends, she used to talk less and liked to stay in calm places.
