Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital has been tense following death of a pregnant woman while undergoing treatment at the hospitalon Monday.
One Kamini Singh of Nepalgunj Municpality, ward-10, died during the treatment last night.
The hospital became tense following vandalism by the locals and relatives of the deceased, accusing the doctors of their negligence whiletreating the patient.
Meanwhile, hospital administration has clarified that Singh died as her relatives tried to admit the patient at the same hospital despite the doctors had referred her for the treatment at another hospital due to complexity.
On the other side, the relatives have accused the hospital of not providing even primary treatment to the deceased.
Meanwhile, police personnel have been deployed in the hospital to contain any unwanted situation.
