Police on Friday arrested Bhim Bahadur Subedi from his residence in Hetauda on charge of raping his nine-year-old daughter.
Subedi, under the influence of alcohol, allegedly raped his daughter on Thursday night. The neighbours informed police into the matter as the victim shared her ordeal to them.
According to the villagers, Subedi married to his second wife after the demise of the victim's mother and the incident occurred as her step mother went to her maternal home. The victim is taking refuge now at Hetauda office of Maiti Nepal.
